Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies that are made with butter and a combination of white and brown sugars which produces a rich and chewy cookie.
History indicates that Ruth Wakefield, who was the owner of the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts. In 1930 she did cut a chocolate bar into small chunks and added it to her butter cookie dough. Here is the recipe so you can make your own chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients:
Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, vanilla, cocoa and water until fluffy.
In another bowl, mix flour,salt,baking soda, oatmeal, pecans all together.Then add what you just cream.
Mix all together then add the chocolate chips.
Make cookies by hand or with a spoon and bake at 350oF for 12 or 14 minutes. Let them cool before remove from cookie sheets.
